Terms of Use & EULA

Effective: September 25, 2026

These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (Terms) are a contract between you and Muted LLC (Muted, we, us, or our) for your use of the OneStepVideo website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the Service). By creating an account, downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

2. Limited software license

Subject to these Terms and any paid plan you purchase, Muted grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use OneStepVideo for your own lawful use. The Service is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. Authorized content only

OneStepVideo is a general-purpose local-media tool. You may use its save, playback, playlist, and lyric features only for media that you own, have express permission or a valid license to use, or may use under a clearly applicable legal exception. You must independently confirm that each use complies with applicable law, the content owner’s rights, and the terms of every third-party website or service involved.

4. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights; to download or distribute content without the required rights; to bypass or defeat DRM, paywalls, authentication, access controls, geo-restrictions, anti-bot measures, or other technical protections; to access content you are not authorized to access; or to interfere with third-party services. You must not reverse engineer, modify, resell, rent, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product, except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

5. Third-party platforms and content

Third-party websites, services, and their content are governed by their own terms and policies. OneStepVideo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by YouTube, Google, Douyin, TikTok, or any other third party unless we expressly say so in writing. We do not grant you rights to third-party content, and your use of the Service does not override any third-party terms or technical restrictions.

6. Local files and lyrics

Downloaded media, local playlists, and lyric files are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to share them. Lyrics, metadata, artwork, and other media-related material may be protected by intellectual-property rights. You may not use the Service to reproduce, publish, redistribute, or commercially exploit lyrics or other content without the required permission. Availability and accuracy of lyric results are not guaranteed.

7. Plans, subscriptions, and access

Free accounts have feature limits, including download-task and lyric-access limits. Eligible new accounts may receive a 14-day lyrics trial. Paid access may be offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase, subject to the price, features, taxes, and terms displayed at checkout. We may change future plan prices or features, but changes will not retroactively alter a paid annual term or a completed lifetime purchase except where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or Service operation.

8. Cancellation and no-refund policy

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and paid access continues until the end of the then-current paid term, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Payments, including lifetime purchases, are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

9. Acceptable use and enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access, remove plan entitlements, or take other reasonable action if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal risk, or harmed the Service, other users, or third parties. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service when reasonably necessary.

10. Intellectual property and feedback

The Service, software, branding, and our original content are protected by law. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without compensation or obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUTED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION. We do not promise that any website, media source, lyric result, format, feature, or download will remain available or work without interruption.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUTED AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Muted and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where applicable law gives you a different mandatory forum, you and Muted agree that courts located in the State of New York have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by other appropriate means. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms. Questions, legal notices, and rights-related concerns may be sent to hello@mutedllc.com.
